Accessibility Statement

We're committed to making journeysupp.com accessible to everyone. Here's what we're doing — and how to reach us if we miss the mark.

Our commitment

Journey Supplements is committed to making journeysupp.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every customer deserves clear, easy access to our products and information — regardless of how they browse the web.

Conformance status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the international standard maintained by the W3C. WCAG defines requirements that make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

What we've done

Specific steps we've taken across the site:

  • Full keyboard navigation, including dropdowns, drawers, and modals
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
  • Color contrast meeting the AA minimum of 4.5:1 for body text
  • Alt text on every product and content image
  • Semantic HTML with a single, meaningful <h1> per page
  • Skip-to-content link for screen reader users
  • ARIA labels on icons, controls, and dynamic regions
  • Proper focus management on the cart drawer, mobile menu, and product carousels (we use the inert attribute on hidden elements)
  • Escape key closes every modal and drawer
  • Forms with associated labels, clear error messages, and reCAPTCHA disclosure
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion — animations gracefully reduce for users who request it

Continuous improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing journey, not a finished project. We test new features against WCAG 2.1 AA before they go live, and we run audits with assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard-only flows) as part of our regular development process. We treat accessibility issues with the same priority as any other bug.

Known limitations

Some third-party tools embedded in our site — including the reviews widget, payment processors, and analytics — are outside our direct control. We advocate with those vendors for accessibility, but their components may not always meet our target conformance level. If you encounter any barrier from one of these tools, please let us know so we can help you complete your purchase by email or phone.
